Cllr Dan Martin stands down.

It is with regret that we have to inform you that Cllr Dan Martin has decided to stand down as a Broadstone Ward councillor. Dan's work commitments have increased significantly over the last few months. Dan said: "I have decided that it would be in the best interests of Broadstone residents to step aside. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported me over the last three years and would commend Roy Godfrey to you. He has worked tirelessly for you all as Chairman of Broadstone Residents' Association and I know he will continue to work as hard as a councillor, if elected."

Mike Brooke, Leader of the Lib Dem group on Poole Borough Council spoke very highly of Dan. "Dan has been an excellent colleague and has given his full support to everything we have tried to do in Broadstone. Dan's career as a barrister is important and we wish him every success for the future."
